A real value for money place at the confluence of Pinelands, Ndabeni and Maitland. Its been open for a year but I've missed it all along even though I work in a nearby office. Made sure to check in today and I wasn't disappointed, seating area inside is spacious and airy along with 4 tables outside. Coffee is reasonably priced and quick bites like banana bread etc make this place a great option for coffee buffs. I opted for a takeaway cappuccino which was strongest of all the ones that I've had till date and was uniquely wonderful. At 30 bucks I consider it a bargain in today's times. Service was quick, vibe was calm. I'll be back for a sit in coffee next time to enjoy the interior vibe which I bet would be great. If you are in the area, do give this local joint a chance to serve you.

I pop in at Camissa 4/5 mornings in the week. Their coffee is great, and their staff are friendly and engaging always ready with a warm smile. I had a breakfast wrap from them yesterday morning and smashed avocado on sourdough toast this morning. I was super pleased. Food is great, prices are decent too, R50 for 2 slices of toast and smashed ago with rocket and chives. Apparently their falafel wrap is a must-try. I've had iced coffee from them, and I was really impressed. They serve it in a glass jar (accompanied with a biodegradable straw of cause). YAY for sustainability! If you bring it back, you get R5 off your next order which I think is great. I generally just like visiting this spot. It has a great feel-good vibe with a variety of drinks and snacks. Not only do they serve quality coffee, but smoothies, fresh juices, kombucha and a whole lot more.
