Mugg & Bean On The Move Old Mutual

I’ve bought this sandwich from Mugg & Bean On The Go in Pinelands many times, this is not my first experience. In fact, it used to be my favourite item on the menu. The toasted Cheese, Tomato on Sourdough. But today was absolutely awful. Nearly R70 for what is essentially processed cheese on sourdough. The “cheese” was the colour and consistency of mustard… a bright yellow, overly smooth, and nothing like real melted cheese. It completely overpowered the sandwich and made it look and taste like cheap plastic. I could not even eat the thing. (The staff did not mention them being out of cheese either) And the service today was just as disappointing as the food quality. I was not helped for 8 whole minutes… I left and returned later just for my go-to order to be ruined. This was genuinely gross and a huge letdown.

The service I receive here from Lujayn and Wongile is always amazing! Lujayn is friendly, helpful and always remembers my order. And Wongile makes the best hot chocolate and coffee. Love coming here 🙌🏻
